NEW YORK -Diane Pittson, an X-Ray technician from New Jersey, attended the Chinese New Year Splendor on Sunday, along with her husband Brad and her adopted children, Marqui, 10, and Martanique, 8.

Ms. Pittson said she loved every part of the show. "Everything was fabulous, truly a spectacular."

"Among my favorite ones were the two drum dances, which had this great routine and were a really exciting ending."

"I also liked the 'Nymphs of the Sea,' with those soft, wavy fans all together in the beginning that made the dancers look like they were emerging from the water."

She said the dances "Chopstick Zest," "Water Sleeves," and "Lightness and Grace" were also impressive.

"Oh, they were beautiful, I really loved it. There isn't anything, isn't a single bad thing to be said about it."

Ms. Pittson said that her son, Marqui, loves Chinese culture. They adopted him three years ago.

"When we saw this on TV, they [the children] were really excited, so we decided that it was a good idea to check it out," she explained. She said her friends had adopted children from Mongolia and Shanghai, and she wanted to encourage them to see the show for themselves.

"It was great, we all had lots of fun," she said. "We really enjoy everything there is about Chinese culture, and this was a great example. This 'splendor' was really spectacular."
