NEW YORK -"It was beautiful. I thought the costumes were nice; very authentic, which I like," said Rennata DeDalmas, who works as a jewelry designer. "It had a nice mix of things. Very good. Perfect."
Rennata DeDalmas came with her daughter to the February 9 afternoon showing of the Chinese New Year Splendor at Radio City Music Hall. DeDalmas commented that, "It was a beautiful experience and understanding of authentic Chinese culture."
DeDalmas explained how she'd decided to come see the show after receiving a flier about it, "I saw it and I said, 'I have to bring my daughter to this.'" She continued, "She studies Chinese, and we brought her Chinese teacher here as well."
DeDalmas said that the two segments that she enjoyed the most were "Forsythia in Spring" and "Nymphs of the Sea." Saying, "I liked the Forsythia dance, the one about spring, and the one with the waves … the nymphs. That was my favorite."
