What moved me the most in the performance by Divine Performing Arts was its compassionate guidance for helpless people who have pursued the true meaning of life. The song "Who I Am" sung by Mr. Guan Guimin is so peaceful and pure-hearted that it opened the door of my heart -broken by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) regime for half a century. I escaped death by a hair's breadth. I was labeled a "rightist" in the 1950s and spent 15 years in prison. Later I went into exile while my parents, son, and my niece …. all of my loved ones died from persecution by the CCP regime. My son died at age 18, and the CCP regime blamed his death on Falun Gong. I even made an announcement that his death had nothing to do with Falun Gong, and I made it clear that the murder was the responsibility of the CCP regime, and the CCP was the real evil cult. I knew Falun Gong practitioners have experienced the most brutal persecution. But due to lies fabricated by the CCP regime, I did not investigate the truth of Falun Gong.
I struggled a long time with life and fought the CCP regime alone. Although I was a Christian, I still felt helpless and lost hope for my future and for China. Sometimes I even thought of taking my life, but I did not take their fate [imposed by the CCP] lying down. Then I saw the Divine Performing Arts show.
Divine Performing Arts Demonstrates the Hope That Justice Will Finally Defeat Evil
What a wonderful performance it is! It presented the beauty and brightness of both heaven and the human world. It presented us with the hope that in the future justice will finally defeat the evil. It presented us with the ultimate origin and end of life. I watched the show with my heart and felt it with my spirit. I could not stop my tears, which diluted and washed out the hate deposited for a half century, and refilled my heart with the most precious elements: compassion and tolerance.
I deeply understand Falun Gong practitioners based on my own experiences. After eight years of continuous persecution, Falun Gong practitioners still persevere in their beliefs, and never compromise with the CCP regime. Now they transcend the persecution and host a world-class show to clarify the facts to the people of the world and call on their conscience. This cannot be done if motivated by any political or economic profit, but through the power of believing in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance."
The piece "Awaken" is my favorite, and perfectly demonstrates the truth that "Righteousness will definitely defeat evil." We can see that more and more Chinese people are awakening from the lies fabricated by the CCP regime and speaking out for justice. At the end of this piece, the practitioners on the stage and the screen joined together from all over the world and this is the most beautiful scene I have ever seen. It is the perspective of the future and also a true reflection of reality. Only a society of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance" is a true society of harmony. The "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance" pursued by Falun Gong practitioners brings new hope and a vital force to this world.
Divine Performing Arts Enlightens Us to Pursue the Truth
After watching the show, when I looked at the show's program, I related to a song's description: "Truth is the only salvation; truth is the last hope of the future." Years ago when one of my friends gave me the book Zhuan Falun, I refused to read it due to the exclusivity of Christianity, plus I had a negative opinion of Falun Gong because of the overwhelming propaganda of the CCP regime. I said wrong words back then, but Divine Performing Arts changed me. With the help of this righteous mirror, I realize the limitation of history and the limitation of human life. Do not pretend to know something you actually do not know, do not say anything if you actually do not understand, and never believe any propaganda and slander fabricated by the CCP regime.
My university major is law, and I was set up and persecuted by the CCP regime. But I was still deluded by the CCP regime on the issue of Falun Gong. I hope I will understand the truth of Falun Gong for the rest of my life, and tell all the people I know the truth of Falun Gong. Although I am facing pressure from the CCP regime and the pressure of my friends, I will insist on the choice of conscience to speak true words and be a good person.
I am cautious in most things, but I am totally convinced by the pure truthfulness, ultimate compassion, and beauty of Divine Performing Arts. From the countless compliments from the audience regardless of their race, profession, gender, and age, I realize that the success of Divine Performing Arts cannot be attained by humans; it is the gods' will to purify the body and spirit of humans. Divine Performing Arts really comes from the Divine, it is the gospel of the heavens.
I really appreciate Divine Performing Arts for bringing me the truth -the truth of Falun Gong, the truth of the persecution, and the truth of life, which enlightens me to pursue the truth of the universe. I think I am the beneficiary of the show. I appreciate the god who gave me a chance to watch the Divine Performing Arts and left me the opportunity to pursue the truth of life.
When I was a Christian, I accepted baptism by submerging my body in water. The Divine Performing Arts is a baptism of purifying the soul with a show.
