NEW YOK -Radio City Music Hall was abuzz this Chinese New Year as Divine Performing Arts' Chinese New Year Splendor continued its shows.
'I Bought Ten Tickets For My Friends'
Stephanie from X'ian China, who now lives in New York, was very excited about the show.
"It's beautiful. I come every time, at Christmas, I bought ten tickets for my friends to come," she said. "This time I bought another ten tickets for all my friends."
She explained, "Because a lot of Chinese, they still don't know. In China they don't know the truth, now gradually they know the truth. Even me, myself, before, I didn't know the truth."
"I read The Epoch Times every day, the free Chinese newspaper, so I got to know. Three years ago, I came for the first time, I found it very good, so every year I come."
As for what she liked about tonight's show, Stephanie said, "My favorite is Yue Fei; it promotes patriotism because if we love China, we should love China from our heart and we really care about China, not just verbally, but really in our actions."
'Just go, enjoy it!'
Ryan, a carpenter, and Nancy, who works for a diamond company, from Queens, were very excited about the show.
Nancy said, "I would say get a ticket and just go, enjoy it! You have to come see it with your own eyes!"
