New York -Accountant Mark Heller and his wife Susan, a teacher, really enjoyed the drums at the Chinese New Year Splendor on Saturday night.

Mrs. Heller said she teaches students from all around the world.

"Culturally, it's very interesting to see their style of dancing; it's very different from our culture. Being a teacher, you know, I can bring that back to my students," she said.

"I can see their cultures and their experiences versus ours. We can relate it to the kids."

When asked what their favorite performance was, Mrs. Heller said, "I think the drums."

Her husband agreed, "Yeah, it was definitely the drums," and she said, "Yeah, we liked the action!"

Mr. Heller said the show was "very good" and the digital backgrounds were "amazing."

Mrs. Heller added that the backdrops added a lot to the performance.

"Especially the rain scene, I think it feels like it was raining outside," she said.

Both Susan and Mark also commented that the orchestra was very good.

The couple came to the show because Mr. Heller's mother gave them the tickets as a gift.

The Divine Performing Arts international touring companies land next in Germany and Japan. For information on all upcoming shows, please visit: http://www.DivinePerformingArts.org/
