NEW YORK -"I loved it. I loved the energy, the colors, the dance, I love it all. It's just great, a great experience," said Lois Camillo, a producer for Univision, a Spanish television network.
Lois came with his cousin, Liset Camillo, to see the Febraury 9 showing of the Chinese New Year Splendor at New York's Radio City Music Hall.
"I loved the last one with the drums," said Lois, referring to an energetic performance called "Victory Drums."
"And I loved the one with the sea in the background," he added. "Nymphs of the Sea" is a dance based on a Chinese legend about deities who reside in the sea and only appear before those with pure hearts.
"I like that it's well coordinated," said Lois. "And it's different; actually, it's very different. I would definitely recommend it."
Liset, who works as a lawyer in New York, agreed. Her favorite performance was "Nymphs of the Sea."
"It was all nicely tied together," she said. "I think it is good. Entertaining, beautiful, beautifully presented. I would recommend it to everyone."
The Divine Performing Arts international touring companies land next in Germany and Japan.
