NEW YORK -Talk show host Harold Channer has enthusiastic praise for the Chinese New Year Splendor after seeing New York's last show on Saturday.

Professor Channer hosts the daily talk show "Conversations with Channer," which features guests from Manhattan and the surrounding areas.

"I think it's a marvelous. I think it's really funny. And it's also really interesting with the mix of the two cultures. They have musical blending, and they have the lessons in traditional dance," he said.

He has been to the show before, and said he knows some of the people who are associated with it.

"I'm a great fan. I think it's wonderful," he said.

He said the performers were very talented and he enjoyed every one of the dances.

"The dancing is so well-coordinated and they go all over and tour around with the show. I think it's a major event. Who else is putting on something like that? I don't know," he said.

He said it would be difficult to find a similar show anywhere.

"I don't know where else we get such elaborate costumes, dance and music and all that sort of thing. I think it's an absolutely wonderful thing. I always look forward to it if I'm able to see it," he said.

He wanted to wish the performers well as they get ready to go on tour.

"I think it's magnificent and I love it. They are putting it on all over the place, and I wish them all the best. And I really, really like it a lot," he said.

He said he would like to understand the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, a book published by The Epoch Times about the history of the communist party in China.

He asked, "Wouldn't it be wonderful to have this [show] travel to Beijing?"

The Divine Performing Arts international touring companies land next in Germany and Japan.
